is the place. Not to be missed.
Great atmosphere in a Family run friendly place in heart of
Greenwood in Seattle. The only problem is what to order from the
menu, as so many dishes are beyond tempting. The solution - come
more often and try everything until you discover your favorite!

Great food, good service, and good prices.
My wife and I went to Yanni’s for dinner service after we saw
the restaurant on Kitchen Njghtmares.
The decor was nice - simple, clean, and fresh.
The menu was chock full of options.
The food arrived at a good pace and everything from the falafel,
hummus, to the moussaka tasted great.
Our server had a fun personality and was attentive considering
the number of tables he was looking after.
All in all, I think Chef Ramsey would be proud.

Yanni's Catering
I used to live near Yanni's when I was younger, and it was
the first place I tried calamari. I went back recently for a
catering order, and had a great experience. The proprietor,
Peter, sat down with us to discuss what would best suit our
event, and was very personable. The food was good, price seemed
reasonable considering we were doing appetizers before and
dinner after an event for 13 people (about $300), and the
calamari was as good as I remembered it. The baklava and
spanakopita also stood out to me as very good. I highly
recommend Yanni's.

The lamb chops were
seasoned perfectly.
Of course I found out about them from Kitchen Nightmares
reruns. I'm not from the Seattle area. But to know that they
turned the restaurant around is a true testament to the family.
Now to the food. I had a Greek salad and then the lamb chops
with rice and vegetables. The food was delicious. The lamb chops
were seasoned perfectly. Service was very attentive and the
owner spoke to my son over the phone which made his day! I would
most definitely go back and try something different.

Over all it was just a really incredible experience!
The food was excellent and the service was even better! I visited this place rather late at night (for reference, the place closes at 10 and I arrived at somewhere around 9:20) and one of the ladies who worked there, assumably a manager or co-owner of the place, gave us the most exceptional service! The food is incredible and not a very long wait at all (with an amazingly warm and gooey dessert w/cold ice cream at the end), but I think both mine and my dad's favorite part about the night was how fun and kind our server was! I marked the place as a favorite so that next time I'm in town I'll know where to come.
She gave the place a very homey and cozy feel as well as just being
so very kind and social even at a time when most servers would most
definitely be very irritated at late night customers. We
actually didn't leave until about 10:25 pm because she was so
insistent on wanting us to enjoy our meal and not wanting us to rush.
Over all it was just a really incredible experience! I definitely
recommend this place to anyone looking for some delicious and
authentic Greek cuisine.

Reasonably priced and still leftovers to take home!
Extremely friendly wait staff, tasty snacks and plates, reasonably

I had dinner with my son and his friend at Yanni's this Memorial
Day weekend. The hospitality and service were exceptional. The food
flavors just pop in your mouth from the first bite until the last. The
Horiatiki salad is as fresh and delicious as you'd expect to taste in
Greece. The Saganaki is mouth-watering. The variety of meats just
perfect. Kudos to the owner and his wife for making our last evening
in Seattle a memorable one.

The food was incredible!
I just ordered delivery from here, and it was absolutely worth an
immediate review. The food was incredible! All the ingredients were so
fresh, the food packed with flavor, the presentation (even for
delivery!) incredibly beautiful. I'm so happy with my meal, I
can't way to try more of their menu. Thank you SO much to the
chefs and owners who clearly put a lot of pride into their craft!
